Call for Papers:

Meeting Announcement

The NEDSI 2014 conference will be held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 26-29. Registration will start on Wednesday, March 26th. The sessions will start on Thursday afternoon, March 27th and will continue through Saturday, March 29. The gala dinner and award ceremony will be held on Saturday night, March 29th.

Call for Papers

Competitive papers or detailed abstracts and proposals for symposia, tutorials and workshops are invited for submission. The submission deadline has been extended to January 20th, 2014. Our CMS site will open for submissions of papers on July 20, 2013.

Sessions involving practitioners will be given special consideration. Submissions will be blind refereed and accepted submissions will be published in the Conference Proceedings. By submitting a manuscript, the authors certify that it is not copyrighted or previously published, has not been presented or accepted for presentation at another professional meeting.

All papers, abstracts and workshop proposals must be received electronically on or before January 20th.

Outstanding Paper Awards

Awards for Best Paper in the following areas are open for competitions:

  • Best Contribution to Theory
  • Best Contribution to Application of Theory
  • David M. Levine Best Paper Award: Innovative Education

Instructions for Contributors

All papers should be submitted electronically. On our site, http://www.nedsi.org, please click on 2014 Conference and then on Submission and follow the instruction for submitting your paper, abstract or proposal. Our CMS site will open for submissions of papers on July 20, 2013.

All papers, abstracts, and proposals should be double-spaced. Abstracts and proposals should be as complete as possible. All information identifying the authors should be removed from the paper. The title page should show only the title of the paper.

Electronic submission will be acknowledged by return e-mail upon receipt. Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email.
